Located just 10 miles from downtown Asheville in scenic Candler, NC, The Farm feels worlds away while still being easy to reach. Whether your guests are driving in or flying into Asheville Regional Airport, getting here is simple, which makes it an ideal destination for small weddings and elopements in Western North Carolina.
Once you pass through our gates, the pace changes. The world quiets. There’s time to connect, time to celebrate, and time to make memories that don’t feel rushed.
Designed For Intimate Weddings
Small weddings deserve just as much care as large celebrations, and at The Farm, they receive it. Couples have exclusive access to our 17 acre property during their event, with multiple ceremony locations and gathering spaces that allow your day to unfold naturally.
Ceremony sites include our Gazebo, Garden, Cove, and Rhododendron Wall, along with beautiful indoor options in case of rain or cold weather. Our Event Center and Covered Pavilion are both heated, and our experienced team seamlessly transitions spaces when needed so your day stays stress-free, no matter the forecast.
Every corner of the property offers unique photo opportunities, inspired by Bev’s original vision and brought to life through Myron’s masterful woodworking. Each space was created with intention, giving photographers endless inspiration and couples a setting that feels both elevated and welcoming.
Thoughtfully Included Services
Small weddings at The Farm are fully supported by an experienced, in-house team. From the moment you book, we handle the details so you can stay present and enjoy the process.
Your experience includes access to our gathering places and décor collection, wedding coordination services that begin six months before your date, and full catering and bar service from The Farm Kitchen. On-site lodging is also available, with cabins, cottages, and nearby Meadowbrook Manor accommodating up to 50 guests.
Couples are also invited to one of our most loved traditions: Taste of The Farm. This immersive event allows you to sample dishes, explore beverage options, meet key staff members, and experience the Farm the same way your guests will.
Farm To Table Catering, Crafted Just for You
Food is at the heart of every celebration here. Executive Chef Mike Ferrari works closely with each couple to design a custom menu that reflects your tastes, traditions, and vision. About five months before your wedding, you’ll meet with our menu designer to explore service styles, flavors, and budget options.
Whether you envision an elegant plated dinner, family-style meal, or interactive food stations, every dish is prepared with care and creativity. Bold global flavors and elevated Southern comfort are hallmarks of The Farm Kitchen, and no two menus are ever the same. Outside catering is not permitted, with the exception of desserts, ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
Craft Cocktails & Curated Bar Service
Our bar offerings are designed to complement your menu and enhance the guest experience. From Asheville’s best local beers and ciders to curated international wines and full bar options, we help couples create a beverage experience that feels personal and fun. If you have a favorite beer, wine, or signature cocktail in mind, our team can source custom options through our local distributor network and help design drinks that feel like you.
On-Site Lodging For A True Weekend Experience
One of the things couples love most about hosting small weddings at The Farm is the ability to stay on-site. With seven cabins and cottages on the property and Meadowbrook Manor just across the street, up to 50 guests can stay close together.
This creates a relaxed, connected experience where the celebration doesn’t feel rushed and time together extends beyond the ceremony itself.
A Rain Plan You Don’t Have To Worry About
Many of our ceremony locations are outdoors, but weather is never a concern. Your coordinator will create both fair-weather and inclement-weather plans well in advance. The final decision is made the morning of your wedding, and if needed, ceremonies can move indoors or under the Covered Pavilion. Our team efficiently flips spaces during cocktail hour, often in just minutes, so your reception remains uninterrupted.
