3 Asheville Wedding Sites: Scenic Locations For Every Style
Asheville is a magical place.
Really, we’re not only saying that because we live here.
Rather, we choose to live here because we believe it.
Whether you’re from this area or just coming in for a visit (Welcome!), you’re bound to also get a sense for why we love this town so much.
And doesn’t it just make all the sense in the world to celebrate your love as a couple in a place that you love?
We think it does.
That’s why we’re putting together this list of a few of our favorite Asheville wedding sites for you to peruse.
We hope you’ll find on this page the spot where you’ll officially start the rest of your lives together.

1. The Farm: A Gathering Place
189 reviews and an overall 4.8 rating on Google Maps can’t be wrong.
Technically, we’re located in Candler (that’s Buncombe County), but that means we’re essentially on the western edge of the Asheville metropolitan area.
So, if you want to be in the Asheville area without necessarily having to deal with Asheville traffic and all that other downtowny-type stuff, this is your place.
Here at The Farm, you’ll also get a lot more space than you will at most other Asheville wedding sites.
But it’s not all about location and space.
You have to judge each venue you consider on its own merits as a venue.
For example, do they offer coordination services?
We do.
Do you need to arrange your own catering separately, or do they have their own in-house farm-to-table catering service like ours?
And how about on-site accommodations for up to 50 people?
Yep, The Farm has that too.
And that’s why it’s at the top of this list.

And take a look through the rest of our website to see all the terrific photo op spots we have on the property!
Lastly, you’ll want to find out something about the people running the venues you’re considering.
For instance, sometimes the venue you’re looking at is only one of several that are being collectively managed by a real estate development firm.
In that case, you might not be able to expect the same level of personalization or individual attention that you can from more independent Asheville wedding sites.
At The Farm, you can definitely expect a high level of personal attention, including two separate plans provided by our in-house coordinator (one for a sunny day and another in case it rains).
And for the icing on the cake, your wedding package will include our famous “Taste of the Farm” for up to 4 guests.
That’s basically a really nice tour where we show you everything, feed you, and introduce you to all our favorite vendors before your wedding so that you don’t have any doubts.
P.S. Check out our FAQ to ensure that you have all the information you need and don’t have to worry about not knowing anything.

This is our executive chef, Mike Ferrari. He’s been cooking professionally since 2001, and he’s THE BEST!
2. Haiku
For those of you who might be looking for something a bit exotic without the exotic price tag, Haiku might be a place of interest.
The design and layout are inspired by traditional Japanese zen gardens, Buddhist temples, and Shinto shrines.
Though we’re not experts on the subject ourselves, we think they did a pretty good job.
It seems pretty convincingly authentic to us.

This is undoubtedly one of the more unique Asheville wedding sites you could get married at, but for anyone who knows, this town is all about quirky.
And we wouldn’t include them if they didn’t also have long-established relationships with many of the area’s best vendors – from florists to bakers.
Did we mention the koi pond?
They have a koi pond.
We think that’s super neat.
From what we hear, it’s also good luck.
3. Blackberry Estates
For our third and final entry, we’d like to give a shoutout to one of our favorite new kids in town: Blackberry Estates.
And when they say “estates,” they do mean it.
These fine folks are sitting on 70 ACRES of some of North Carolina’s most lush and scenic mountain landscapes.
In case you don’t know, managing 4 or 5 acres is already a lot.
When you’ve got dozens of acres, you’re clearly not messing around.
To make it even better, Blackberry Estates was founded with the explicit stated purpose of being an ecologically sustainable project.
They’ve designed the whole place to fit in seamlessly with the natural environment.
And it’s also a working farm!
Now, as another venue with the word “farm” in its name and as a group of people who, like most here in Asheville, cherish our green surroundings, we just respect the heck out of that.

We Could Say So Much More
We’re almost sad to say that this is the end of our little article.
We had limited space on the page, but rest assured that these are far from the only good Asheville wedding sites you have to select from.
These just happen to be some of our favorites for reasons that are likely obvious to you at this point.
They each perfectly balance the qualities we value in a venue, such as space, scenery, staff, and affordability.
There are certainly places in this area where you can spend more than you will at The Farm or Haiku, but spending more doesn’t always mean getting more.
With any of the sites on this list, we feel you’ll be getting the most bang for your buck.
